1. Introduction

PT Real Info Indonesia trading as REID ("REID", "we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy and Cookie Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, how we protect it, and your rights under applicable Indonesian law, including the Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP No. 27 of 2022).

This policy applies to all users of the REID Platform at www.realinfo.id, including REID Members and paid subscribers (REID Base, REID Pro, and REID Enterprise). All users are required to create an account, and by doing so you agree to this policy. Capitalised terms have the meanings given in REID's Terms of Service unless otherwise defined here.

This policy should be read alongside our Terms of Service, Usage Policy, and Data Policy, all available at www.realinfo.id.

REID is the data controller responsible for personal data collected through the Platform.

3. What Data We Collect

3.1 Data You Provide at Registration

All users must create an account. At registration, we collect:

Full name and email address
Password (stored in encrypted form)
Phone number or WhatsApp contact (optional at registration)

Paid subscribers (REID Base, REID Pro, and REID Enterprise) additionally provide:

Billing and payment information
Company name and professional role (for business accounts)

3.2 Data Collected Automatically

When you use the Platform, we automatically collect:

IP address and approximate location
Browser type, device type, and operating system
Pages visited, session duration, and navigation patterns
Search queries submitted to the Platform
Referral source (how you arrived at the Platform)

3.3 AI Query Data

When you use REID's AI Features (available to REID Base, REID Pro, and REID Enterprise subscribers), we collect:

The text of queries you submit to the AI
AI responses generated in your session
Session metadata including timestamp and membership tier

AI query data in identifiable form is retained for 24 months. After 24 months, query data is anonymised and aggregated, and retained indefinitely. Anonymised and aggregated AI query data is used by REID as a market demand indicator to understand user research patterns and improve REID's data products and AI capabilities. Individual queries will not be identifiable in this aggregated form.

You should avoid including personal, financial, or sensitive information about third parties in AI queries. REID accepts no responsibility for the content of queries you choose to submit.

3.4 Feedback and Testimonials

If you submit feedback, suggestions, or testimonials to REID, we retain that content and may use it for product improvement and marketing purposes in accordance with the licence granted in REID's Terms of Service.

3.5 Support and Correspondence

If you contact us for support or with an enquiry, we retain records of that correspondence.

3.6 Data From Third Parties

We may receive data about you from third parties including payment processors, analytics providers, and publicly available sources, where permitted by law.

4. How We Use Your Data

We use your personal data for the following purposes:

To create and manage your account and subscription
To deliver REID Services appropriate to your membership tier
To process payments and manage billing (paid tiers only)
To respond to your support requests and enquiries
To send service-related communications including billing notices and product updates
To improve the Platform and AI feature quality, using anonymised and aggregated data including AI query data
To generate market demand indicators from anonymised and aggregated AI query patterns
To conduct analytics on Platform usage patterns
To use feedback and testimonials for product improvement and marketing, where you have provided them
To comply with applicable Indonesian law and regulatory obligations
To enforce our Terms of Service and Usage Policy

5. Legal Basis for Processing

Under UU PDP, we process your personal data on the following bases:

Consent: where you have given us clear consent to process your data for a specific purpose, including marketing communications, AI feature usage, and the retention of AI query data for market analytics purposes.
Contract: where processing is necessary to perform our contract with you, including providing your subscription and delivering REID Services.
Legal obligation: where processing is necessary to comply with Indonesian law.
Legitimate interests: where processing is necessary for our legitimate business interests, including fraud prevention, platform security, service improvement, and market demand analytics, provided these interests are not overridden by your rights.

6. AI Features and Data Processing

REID's AI Features are powered in part by third-party AI model infrastructure. When you submit a query to REID's AI assistant, your query is processed by REID's systems and may be transmitted to a third-party AI model provider to generate a response.

We take the following steps to protect your data in this context:

Queries are processed under data processing agreements with third-party AI providers that prohibit use of your data for training their own models.
REID does not associate individual AI query content with personally identifiable information when sharing data with third-party providers.
Raw AI query data in identifiable form is retained for 24 months, then anonymised and aggregated.

Anonymised and aggregated AI query data is retained indefinitely by REID and used to analyse market research demand patterns and improve REID's data and AI products. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with:

Third-party sub-processors who support the operation of the Platform, including cloud hosting, payment processing, analytics, and AI infrastructure providers, under contractual data protection obligations.
Professional advisers including legal, accounting, and auditing firms, subject to confidentiality obligations.
Regulatory authorities or law enforcement where required by applicable Indonesian law.
A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of REID's business, subject to equivalent data protection obligations.

All third-party sub-processors are required to handle your data in accordance with UU PDP and REID's data protection standards. Where REID engages a new sub-processor or changes an existing one in a way that materially affects the processing of your personal data, registered users will be notified by email or in-platform notification with at least 14 days notice.

8. International Data Transfers

REID's primary operations are based in Indonesia. Some third-party sub-processors, including cloud and AI infrastructure providers, may process data outside Indonesia. Where this occurs, we take steps to ensure adequate protections are in place in accordance with UU PDP requirements for cross-border data transfers.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to comply with our legal obligations. Our standard retention periods are:

Account and subscription data: five years following account closure
Billing and transaction records: seven years, as required by Indonesian tax and financial record-keeping law
AI query data (identifiable): 24 months, then anonymised and converted to aggregate form
AI query data (anonymised aggregate): retained indefinitely for market demand analytics
Feedback and testimonials: retained indefinitely unless you request removal
Support and correspondence records: three years
Marketing consent records: retained until consent is withdrawn, plus two years

You may request earlier deletion of your personal data subject to the conditions in Section 10. Anonymised and aggregated data cannot be subject to deletion requests as it is no longer capable of identifying you.

10. Your Rights Under UU PDP

Under Indonesian data protection law, you have the following rights:

Right to access: request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Right to correction: request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
Right to deletion: request deletion of your personal data, subject to our legal retention obligations. Anonymised aggregate data is not subject to deletion requests.
Right to restriction: request that we restrict processing of your data in certain circumstances.
Right to data portability: request your data in a structured, commonly used format where technically feasible.
Right to object: object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Right to withdraw consent: withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
Right to complain: lodge a complaint with the relevant Indonesian data protection authority.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@realinfo.id. We will respond within 14 business days. We may request verification of your identity before processing your request.

11. Account Closure and Data Deletion

If you wish to close your REID account, please contact hello@realinfo.id. Following account closure:

Your account and profile data will be deactivated immediately.
Personal data will be retained for five years following closure in accordance with our retention schedule, unless you request earlier deletion.
AI query data in identifiable form will be anonymised at the earlier of 24 months from query date or account closure.
Billing and transaction records will be retained for seven years as required by Indonesian law regardless of any deletion request.

If you cancel a paid subscription but retain your REID Member account, your account data is retained in line with the schedule above and your access reverts to REID Member level.

12. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures including encryption, access controls, and secure data storage to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, disclosure, or destruction.

In the event of a personal data breach that poses a material risk to your rights, REID will notify affected individuals and the relevant authority in accordance with UU PDP obligations.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. Please notify us immediately at hello@realinfo.id if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account.

13. Cookie Policy

13.1 What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember information about your visit. REID uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on the Platform.

13.2 Types of Cookies We Use

Essential Cookies

Necessary for the Platform to function, including session management, authentication, and security. You cannot opt out of essential cookies while using the Platform.

Analytics Cookies

We use Google Analytics to collect aggregated data on page views, session duration, navigation patterns, and search behaviour. This data is anonymised and used to improve Platform performance.

Preference Cookies

These remember your settings and preferences to improve your experience on return visits.

Marketing and Remarketing Cookies

With your consent, we use third-party cookies including Google Ads and DoubleClick to display relevant promotional content to you on other websites. These cookies track activity across sites to serve targeted advertising.

Referral Tracking Cookies

These associate your visit with the source that referred you to the Platform. Information is used in aggregate only.

13.3 Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services including Google Analytics, Google Ads, and social media platforms. These third parties have their own privacy policies. REID does not control third-party cookies.

13.4 Managing Cookies

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect Platform functionality. To opt out of Google Analytics, visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout. To manage Google advertising preferences, visit adssettings.google.com.

13.5 Cookie Consent

By continuing to use the Platform, you consent to our use of cookies as described in this policy. You may withdraw consent to non-essential cookies at any time through your browser settings.

14. Children's Privacy

The Platform is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe we have inadvertently collected data from a minor, please contact us at hello@realinfo.id and we will delete it promptly.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy periodically to reflect changes in our data practices or applicable law. We will post updates on this page and, where changes are material, notify registered users by email with at least 14 days notice before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Platform following the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
